Carrie’s career as a Physical Therapist began in 1994 with a passion for the geriatric population. She has spent the past 17 years dedicated to the long term care industry from staff therapist to Rehabilitation Director to Clinical Reimbursement Consultant. Years of successfully managing rehab departments and securing financial gains has given Carrie a strong foundation for understanding both sides of the clinical/financial coin. In her current position Carrie maintains the most up-to-date knowledge of Medicare regulations and reimbursement guidelines. She conducts analysis of clinical systems and provides education, both on-site and off-site, to multiple facilities in New York State. Carrie’s mission is to form a partnership with facilities and assist each one in realizing clinical and financial excellence.
Laura Lenhart has over 15 years experience in clinical services and rehab management, most recently as a Clinical Reimbursement Consultant with Rehab Resources. Under Laura’s direction she increased the average PPS rate 27% during the transition from MDS 2.0 to MDS 3.0. Laura's years of serving as a staff therapist and then as rehab director have enhanced her unique passion for teamwork and dedication to the long term care industry. The tools and strategies she provides promote clinical excellence while maximizing facility reimbursements. Laura provides the most up-to-date regulatory standards and reimbursement guidelines to facilities across New York.
